“This is not a dog, but a horse!” The boy came up with a plan - how to get the biggest dog in the shelter!
- The neighbors said they love our new horse!
Now that it's all over, Travis's parents are laughing. But then they were just shocked! It turns out that they grew up "not a boy, but a husband", able to draw up strategic plans and deftly play on the feelings of others ...
The Biggest Dog Plan
7-year-old Travis Ullman is in first grade. But he knows exactly how to get what he wants! This child is ready to do a lot to achieve his goals - and, to be honest, he will not stop even before a small rally or a little deception.
Only one can be said for his justification - usually the goals that he pursues are quite noble and childishly harmless!
“My son is very smart, Says Anne Ullman, Travis's mom. - And she knows how to handle me! ”
The boy confirmed his reputation as an experienced psychologist and manipulator last week, when he decided that it was time to get a second dog. The fact is that the Ulman family recently moved to a new house with a large backyard.
"Perhaps he is too big, Thought Travis. - And our dog Rosie will be very lonely and uncomfortable here! ”
Therefore, the strategist immediately sat down to develop a master plan, the purpose of which was to convince his parents to give the black labrador Rosie a fluffy fellow.
“Our son began to tell us that the Labrador would be bored alone, that he would bite the fence, trample the beds, howl at night ... Says Mrs. Ullman. - He claimed that the dog needed a friend - and we had to admit that we might someday have a second dog. ”
But “someday” is a very long time!
Travis realized that he needed to take the bull by the horns. That evening, without the knowledge of his mother, he opened the site of a local animal shelter in front of his father. There were many pictures of cute dogs, but the boy immediately “sunk” on the huge Danish Great Danes with black-brown spots.
One look at a small photo - and Travis instantly fell in love with Lucy! However, he didn’t give a view ...
Here the second part of his master plan came into force. The guy asked the parents (“Are you good?” Are you your favorite? ”) take him to the shelter to "just look at the little dogs." He even mentioned pugs, chihuahuas and dachshunds, so the moved parents thought: why not?
The next day, the Ulman family plunged into the car and went to the San Marcos Inhabitant. According to the boy, it was time to unfold the third part of his grandiose plan called “Silently charm and conquer!”
“We got to the shelter, and Travis meticulously walked around all the little dogs. He held them by the feet, stroked, talked, and then went straight to the largest spotted lady I had ever seen! - laughs Ann. - The next thing I heard was: “Mom, I congratulate you on Mother's Day! I am so happy that you take this dog to me because I already love her, and you are the best mother in the world! ” I just stood with my mouth open ... "
“Of course, we were confused. However, Lucy is such a thing that instantly wins any heart! My husband and I stood nearby and understood that she would really be a great addition to our family. Not to mention the fact that the son left us no choice and refused to leave without Lucy ... The only question was - would Lucy want to love Travis? However, a few minutes later, when the boy went into the aviary to the dog, we had no questions left. Lucy was shy for only a few minutes, and then, when she was taken out into the playing area, the two both began to hug, and only detached from each other at home! ”
The new “pony” impressed the neighbors. Now Travis gets all the attention a little boy can get at his age! When he walks down the street, leading a huge magnificent dog on a leash, no one can tear himself away from this sight!
Now at the playground, Travis Ullman is the most popular child. Needless to say - now you can’t drive him home!
Lucy herself is also happy. Regardless of whether she is messing around in the backyard, taking away toys from her new beloved sister, Rosie, or just lying on the couch - this dog is a source of joy in the new family!
Therefore, Travis knows for sure that he is always right, implementing his brilliant plans.))
What would you do if your child asked to accept the largest dog in the house?
