Description of the breed Russian blue cat
Russian Blue is a beautiful medium-sized cat, lean and graceful, but at the same time strong and muscular.
The body is elongated, flexible, graceful.
The head is conditionally wedge-shaped, the nasolabial part is blunted. Mustache pads are clearly visible.
The ears are pointed, large, stand upright. The hairs are practically absent on the inside of the ears, so the ears seem almost transparent.
As for the nose, it should be dark gray by the US standard, and bluish-gray by the UK standards.

The eyes of Russian blue cats are amazingly beautiful: almond-shaped, large, widely set, emerald green.
Paws are slender, long, feet are small, slightly rounded. This further enhances the impression of sophistication and grace. The hind legs are slightly longer than the front.
The long tail tapers toward the tip.
The coat is velvety soft, short, thick, blue with a silvery sheen.
A characteristic feature of the breed: a wonderful two-layer thick fur, the silver tips of the hairs of which form a kind of shimmering halo around a cat's body. Some believe that the stunningly beautiful coat of these cats resembles fur of fur seals - perhaps due to the silver sheen.
Another feature: all the "details" of the appearance of Russian blue cats according to the standard are the same color, including the nose and paw pads.Only emerald green eyes stand out against this background.
