Cookies for dogs - to help dachshunds. Charity project
July 2, 2014 from the point of capture and temporary keeping of animals on the street. Gursky, I took the dachshund. It was my birthday, and then I found out that this is International Dog Day.
Not to say that it was easy. I love all animals, and before that I had a rottweiler. But the dachshund was "worse" than the Rottweiler. Ray and biting, happened. But still, we love each other.
Ray has been with me for 3 years, and all this time has been teaching me to love. Love him, the world and all around.
Like any dachshund, he loves to eat, so I started making cookies. Rather, I always loved the oven, but I read that the dogs can neither chocolate nor sweet, so I had to look for recipes, learn what is possible and what is not, and bake cookies for the dog.
It turns out there are dog bakeries all over the world. And in Belarus, cookies for dogs turned out to be in demand. People call, order different tastes. We make cakes. Now I dream of opening a cafe for people with dogs, but so far it's only a dream.
Ray is present at all pastries, tastes everything, approves and is very worried when I pack cookies and take them somewhere.
My cookies are completely safe for dogs. The basis is peanut butter, rice or corn flour, and I buy peanut butter in sports stores for diet food. Then sugar-free diet yogurt, banana, apple or other ingredients are added. There is no salt, no sugar, people can even lose weight on this cookie.I try different tastes. For example, for some reason, dogs really like parsley cookies. I often add fish to cat cookies.
There are cookies, similar to crackers, about which the dogs sharpen their teeth, and there is a biscuit - it all depends on the preferences of the owner and the dog.
Cookies are a great way to motivate a dog. Among my clients is St. Bernard Casper - a very slow creation. But for a cookie, he executes a command faster than a shepherd!
Cookies are also a good deed. I am a member of the assistance group for Belarusian taxes, and I donate part of the proceeds from the sale of cookies to volunteers.
