Guinea pig character pleasant. Guinea pigs are endowed with a quiet, very calm and quiet disposition. But at the same time, they are sociable and feel great in the company. They really like to be ironed, they love to take care of themselves. Guinea pigs prefer silence, however, if they have the ability to adapt, they can live in noisy rooms.
By nature, guinea pigs are not noisy pets and rarely make sounds. Only pregnant females have the habit of “tweeting” a couple of minutes talking to their spouse, or males, when courted, make sounds resembling purrs.
However, like humans, guinea pigs have a different character and temperament. Sometimes there are very "talkative" individuals, which only give an occasion to peep. But even the most sociable pets will not bother you at night.
If you treat a little friend skillfully and kindly, he will be tamed very quickly and will be ready to spend at least a day in your company, with the exception of the meal time.
But if you handle the guinea pig roughly, the pet can become aggressive. Offending guinea pigs is not recommended - they are quite vengeful.
The guinea pigs are distinguished by increased caution, so that they instantly respond to unfamiliar odors or noise. They are alarmed even by weak rustles. The guinea pig will rise on its hind legs, will carefully sniff and look around, trying to understand where the noise or smell comes from.And only when he is convinced that nothing is threatening her, will he return to the interrupted occupation.
